Research security is integral to national security, protecting intellectual property, and guarding against foreign influence and should be considered at every stage of the research lifecycle.

Please report any proposed research involving a foreign entity, foreign scholars, or foreign exports or imports or any other research security questions or concerns to:

Compliance Services works closely with the Vice Provost for Research, Scholarly Inquiry, and Creative Activity; Legal Services; Information Systems; the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs; Environmental Health and Safety; Global Affairs and Programs; Immigration Services and Support; and our Research Security consultant to administer our Research Security Program.
